To conclude my series on dividends in kind in Switzerland, I have created an overview for you. In the corresponding blog post you will also find a table with many other Swiss companies that offer a dividend in kind:

Which is your favorite dividend in kind? I'm especially curious about your recommendations outside of Switzerland - you're probably better informed than I am.

As always, I'll post everything here except the table - I can't get the thing in here with the best will in the world - it's too long even for a print screen.

Additionally I put the top 3 Swiss non-cash dividends.

During my research on non-cash dividends in Switzerland, I came across many interesting companies. For some, such as the Bell Food GroupI was surprisedOn the one hand, that it has a shareholder gift at all and, on the other hand, that it also offers meat-free products, for example with the Eisberg brand, in addition to its well-known house brand Bell. The shareholder gift from Jungfrau Railway Holding took me to the beautiful mountain landscape to Grindelwald in the Bernese Oberland.

Three companies were named by far the most for their original non-cash dividends. The Top 3 Swiss dividends in kind are:

Chocolate case - Lindt & SprüngliShareholder watch - SwatchShareholder pajamas - Calida

This didn't surprise me much in a country known for chocolate, watches and the mountains. The chocolate case or Schoggikoffer - as it is called in Swiss dialect - has absolute cult status. cult status and is, so to speak, the star among the dividends in kind. Unfortunately, getting hold of the coveted Schoggikoffer is not entirely cheap. The Lindt and Sprüngli share may not be the most expensive share in the world - that place is held by the company Berkshire Hathaway of Warren Buffett with a share price of 435,945 US dollars reserved. With a current share price of 97,800 Swiss francs, the Lindt and Sprüngli share is by far the most most expensive share in Switzerland. One question remains unsolved for me: How did pajamas get into the top 3? I couldn't explain it that precisely - probably simply because Calida is known for another Swiss value: good quality. Another thing these shareholder gifts have in common is that they can also be used or consumed in everyday life.

There are many other companies that do good for their shareholders with dividends in kind of various kinds. Thanks to the mountain railroads, the Swiss mountains are well represented when it comes to dividends in kind. General meetings of local breweries are also very popular - in the Basel region, for example, the Brewery Unser Bier is known for its legendary general meetings with beer à discrétion.

As mentioned above I have compiled a list of other Swiss companies with dividends in kind - without claiming to be complete. You can find the table here if you scroll down the blogpost:

I find Swatch really interesting. Currently, I am still looking for a suitable broker, where it is possible to be entered in the name register in Germany. IngDiba and Degiro.de unfortunately do not offer it...

What else are there worldwide for natural dividends? Or are most of them only available in Switzerland?
