SAP ($SAP (-1,73 %)) — According to SAP CEO Klein, SAP will become one of the world’s largest cloud companies. The shift toward the cloud is intended to attract new investors to the software giant. Following the announcement about a year ago that it would pursue a new strategy, SAP’s stock price plummeted by 20 percent within a single day. Klein said that this decision was the right one and that the future lies in the cloud. On Monday, SAP’s stock rose by as much as 2.76 percent to 117.33 euros.

Stellantis ($STLA (-0,11 %)) — German lithium producer Vulcan Energie has secured a major contract from Stellantis, the parent company of Opel. Starting in 2026, Vulcan is set to supply the automaker with between 81,000 and 99,000 metric tons of battery-grade lithium hydroxide for at least five years. The lithium is to be extracted from thermal water in the Upper Rhine Graben. By simultaneously utilizing the heat from the water extracted from deep underground, the lithium is expected to be CO2-neutral. In light of the growing electric vehicle boom, Vulcan Energie is considering an initial public offering.

El Salvador - Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele celebrated Black Friday by buying into the dip again at a 20% discount. Another $5 million was invested, bringing El Salvador’s total Bitcoin holdings ($BTC (-0,59 %)) rose to 1,220 BTC, valued at approximately 66.3 million US dollars.

The Federal Government — Crypto is mentioned for the first time in the new federal government’s coalition agreement. The new coalition aims to adapt “European financial market supervision law” to accommodate crypto assets and companies. It intends to advocate for a level playing field between the traditional financial sector and “innovative business models.”
