@Madhatter5566 Paypal already has Bitcoin integration in the USA. Don't think that the city wants to deal with Bitcoin in a big way and therefore buys services from Paypal in order to be able to accept Bitcoin.

@Madhatter5566 The difference is that you can use a service provider - but you don't have to.
It's the same as with people who buy Bitcoin ETFs. They are prepared to pay fees so that they don't have to take on the responsibility themselves.

@Madhatter5566 What do you think is wrong with having a free choice? Everyone can do what they want. You don't have that option in the traditional financial system. You have to rely on banks and financial service providers. With Bitcoin, everyone can decide freely.

@Madhatter5566 The cash choice is 1. only available offline and 2. for how much longer...
When the states or central banks come around the corner with their CBDCs in the next few years, the question is how long this choice will still exist.
The functionality does not come from the payment service providers. But you can fall back on them if, for example, you don't want to take care of the safekeeping etc. yourself. Self-custody means taking responsibility and unfortunately we live in a time when people prefer to hand over their responsibility möchten🤷‍♂️

@Madhatter5566 However, you cannot send cash over the Internet. If you make online transfers, you lose practically all the advantages that cash has.
What I don't understand is that you think having a choice is an advantage with cash, but not with Bitcoin?
