Automatic trading program in Bitcoin/NASDAQ/ EURO/USD

Since there are a few people who are interested... Here is some more information about my trading bot. Everything was traded with 3000€ initial deposit and without leverage and that in only one month. The program runs in Bitcoin, Euro/USD and NASDAQ etc.

Here you can see 2 of his trades which I think look very logical. Of course not all trades are logical but these fly out within a very short time due to a tight SL.

Here you can see my account balance and the capital. I have now switched the program to swing trading and within a month I have made a profit of $BTC (+0 %) 7500€. With 3000€ stake and no leverage.

attachment

Here you can see what it looks like when it trades automatically and again I think it looks really good. My emotional self would have been out of the position with a minus long ago ;)

attachment

In this picture you can see some data that might interest some people. The profit factor is very good, I have to say, and the profit... I don't think I need to say anything about that.

And here again a somewhat wild picture of all the orders and SL,TP.

If it were that easy, why doesn't everyone do it?

@JuppDupp so you are welcome to learn the programming language and do all the programming... I've been working on the program for 2 weeks now

@JuppDupp This is not easy even if the code wrote itself, for a variety of reasons: Understanding of the capital market and willingness to take risks, to name just two.

@wealth_navigator_64 Ah, self-developed. What language is that? Maybe I can do it too :-)
image de profil
@JuppDupp MQL5 should be called
image de profil
@JuppDupp Good question, I ask myself the same thing with several topics that really aren't that difficult.... I think in most cases it's ignorance or lack of interest.
image de profil
@Income_expert I don't think most people know that there is such a thing. Sitting down and investing time in something that is not simply buying and selling is sobering at first

@JuppDupp Actually it's a model built by someone that doesn't work that well and they are selling the risk to you :-)))) nothing new 😂

I would be delighted to hear your findings after a year

@DonkeyInvestor Do you mean in the backtest? There it is approx. 85,000€ from 3000€ without leverage
image de profil
@wealth_navigator_64 no, in December 2025. how much money did you actually make with it?
image de profil
I haven't tested it yet as I've only just finished. But I already have the program running on the live server in bitcoin and have already made 400€ profit

@wealth_navigator_64 What is exciting, of course, is what happens over a longer period of time

image de profil
@DonkeyInvestor i hope it works out and i'll be rich haha

image de profil
@wealth_navigator_64 if so, give me some
2
image de profil
@DonkeyInvestor I'll just give you the program

what parameters have you set for the trades and what kind of investment strategy are you pursuing? is it day trading?
image de profil
So there is no investment strategy, he trades 24/7
image de profil
What basis are you working with, MACD? And how do you filter?
image de profil
@Robinhodl I let different indicators run on top of each other and when they cross a buy or sell signal is given
image de profil
@wealth_navigator_64 does the bot also recognize shapes such as raised floors / sks and trends?
image de profil
@Simon_n No, I don't think that works either. But I'll see if it might work
image de profil
@Epi @randomdude your opinion on the strategy?
image de profil
@theflyingsquirrel Typical spam. There is a lot of it on YT.
The bots perform great in the test and as soon as you run them with real money, they crash.
2
image de profil
@Epi okay, have you had any experience with this?
image de profil
@wealth_navigator_64 Fortunately not, but there are people who report this and studies that investigate such systems. They also provide an answer to the question of why such systems collapse 99% of the time after implementation with real money.

@Epi So you mean signals from different indicators only work with demo accounts? And why shouldn't it work? If I write a program that made 7.5k last month and will do the same next year. I have saved it from total loss and the SL and tp are adjusted to short term
image de profil
@theflyingsquirrel Unfortunately, he doesn't say anything substantive about the strategy. There is nothing to evaluate.

@wealth_navigator_64 The models usually don't work, simply because they are overfitted. How did you protect yourself against this? 🤷

@wealth_navigator_64 it's not a reasonable statistically tested entry model to just put a bunch of indicators on top of each other and then run a bot over it. Lol.
That might work once, maybe with luck for a year, but then no more.

(Or, to be precise; the luck you needed to randomly hit exactly the right patterns with indicators that make a profit more than 50% of the time and less possible loss than possible profit on every trade...
There is no such thing as that much luck).

That's why nobody does it. Not because people are too lazy :)

@leveragegrinding but that is also a matter of settings. I let the Macd run on the 1 min chart and the moving average on 30 min so the signals are 60%-75% correct and it holds the positions that were correct longer by a high TP and thus gets out more profit. The positions that were "wrong" are sifted out relatively quickly by a narrow SL. You just have to adjust the program over time so that it also runs long term is clear, for example, the moving average is set to 700 and the MACD to 22 26 9. Then there are long-term trades that naturally make more profit
image de profil
@wealth_navigator_64 that does not work. I made you a post about it

@TradingMelone Great contribution, thank you

@TradingMelone I was looking for you here ahahaha
