Virgin Galactic stock takes off! Richard Branson and his space company have announced plans to launch commercial flight operations into space this month. The first flight, called "Galactic 01," is scheduled for late June and will be a research mission with members of the Italian Air Force. Then, starting in early August, it will be the turn of "private astronauts" to be able to fly into space. And the coolest thing: Virgin Galactic plans to offer monthly commercial flights into space!
Virgin Galactic has been selling tickets for space since February 2022. The pleasure costs a whopping $450,000 (the equivalent of about €400,000) per person for a one-and-a-half-hour tour that includes weightlessness. You'll have to dig a little deeper into your pocket, but if you've always dreamed of flying into space, it might be worth it.
After the news of $SPCE the share price rose by a whopping 16.5%. Investors seem to have confidence in Branson's mission.
What's your take on flying commercially into space? I think it's pretty cool, but I could never afford a ticket for 400k.

NASA-Webb delivers deepest infrared image of the universe yet 🌌☄️
Webb's image covers a section of sky about the size of a grain of sand held by someone on the ground at arm's length - revealing thousands of galaxies in a tiny part of the vast universe.
Webb's sharp near-infrared image revealed faint structures in extremely distant galaxies and offers the most detailed look yet at the early universe.

Billionaire Richard Branson flew into space a few months ago, a few days before Jeff Bezos 🚀
The flight into space was with his company Virgin Galactic (WKN: A2PTTF), which are in direct competition with Elon Musk's Space X 🥊
According to its own information, Virgin Galactic currently already has 600 interested parties who would pay €250,000 to get into space (€150 million) 💰
Due to the so-called scale effect, I could also imagine that in the next 10 years it will be possible for 20,000€ - 50,000€ to embark on a journey into space ✅
I find the topic of space tourism mega exciting and believe that in 10-20 years it will no longer be unimaginable to take a vacation in space 🧑🚀🪐
How do you think space tourism will develop ? 🚀🤷🏽

𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 - The electronics rental company is now looking to take the next big step after entering the U.S. market by going public via SPAC, Finance Forward reports. So far, the start-up has to pre-finance the rented devices and is therefore dependent on steady access to capital. So it seems best to let the capital market secure further growth.
Grover itself has not yet commented on the IPO plans.

𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗶𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 ($UAL1 (-2,83 %)) - The U.S. airline has laid off nearly 600 employees after an ultimatum expired. The ultimatum was set so employees could get vaccinated against Covid-19 by last Monday. The terminated employees could not show a health or religious exemption. Company CEO Scott Kirby commented, "this was an incredibly difficult decision, but the safety of our team has always been our top priority."
As a result of the mandatory vaccination program, which other major U.S. companies have also implemented, approximately 97% of United Airlines' 67,00 employees have been vaccinated.
