This exit plan has nothing to do with the crypto I hold. $BTC (-0,08 %) is, and will continue to be a long term hold. $XRP (+1,05 %) will be a hold and see what happens.
The following is for the other Crypto influenced positions I hold.
My belief is that Bitcoin is setting up for one last big, euphoric rally within the next few months. I don't believe this rally will be sustainable, and I see it as the last wave this cycle (You are entitled and encouraged to hold your own opinions on this).
So my whole game plan is built not on holding out for new paradigm, but selling into that final run of energy. The aim is to reap maximum profits from this expected move and then leave before an inevitable correction.
Some of my indicators are:
Bitcoin Price Target: I have my own target zone for Bitcoin's price.
Sentiment: I'm watching for the Crypto Fear & Greed Index to be pegged at "Extreme Greed" for a sustained period.
Retail Mania: When mainstream news outlets are running breathless front-page stories about Bitcoin's new all-time highs and my friends who have never mentioned crypto before start asking me if they should buy, I know the top is near. 😂
$MSTR (-1,17 %) is my leveraged instrument for the rally. I expect it to outperform Bitcoin on the way up due to its debt-fueled BTC acquisitions. This will be the first position I exit, and I will do so aggressively. Because of its leverage and historical premium to Net Asset Value (NAV), it will fall faster and harder than Bitcoin when the tide turns. My first target is $475. SL is already in on the gains so far.
$COIN (-1,42 %) My exit from COIN will lag slightly behind my MSTR exit. Its price is more closely tied to trading activity I think, which often peaks just as or slightly after the asset price itself.
$SBET (-3,81 %) is my speculative micro-cap that has ridden the wave of risk-on sentiment. It has no direct link to my Bitcoin idea but its performance is a proxy for the market's overall appetite for risk. @BamBamInvest tempted me into this trade. This is the simplest. I have the least conviction in this as a long-term hold, and I will use it as a source of early liquidity.
This is my plan. You may not agree, and thats alright. But I am open to hear what you think of the current crypto market, what your own expectations are and what do you feel like you will hold and sell over the next year in crypto?
