Volkswagen ($VOW (-1,84 %)) - The German automaker Volkswagen, suffered a significant decline in sales in China in 2021. Overall, sales figures shrank by 14% compared to the previous year. VW China CEO Stephan Wöllenstein cited the lack of semiconductors and supply chain problems as the reason for the poor figures. VW Group's market share in China, which had long been 14 or 15 percent, now fell to 11 percent.
Take-Two ($TTWO (+0,01 %)) - Take-Two announced yesterday that they are acquiring mobile game maker Zynga for $11 billion. The plan behind this is to become stronger in the mobile game maker segment. The Take-Two share reacted very negatively to the announcement and lost up to 15%.

After Paypal's recent talk of crypto payment features, they now announced their intention to launch their own cryptocurrency. "We're looking into a stablecoin; as we move forward, we'll obviously work closely with the relevant regulators," said Jose Fernandez da Ponte, senior vice president for cryptocurrencies and digital currencies at Paypal.
