When it comes to elevators, you either know Schindler $SCHN (+0,47 %) from der🇨🇭, Kone $KNEBV (+0,49 %) from 🇫🇮 or Thyssen Krupp $TKA (-2,6 %) from 🇩🇪.

But the market leader is Otis from 🇺🇸 and in fact most of the apartment buildings that have been built recently in my city have an Otis elevator. The difference to the others, the Otis elevators have a fancy display with weather forecast and news ticker. If I hadn't invested here, I probably would never have noticed which manufacturer the elevator is from.

Oil - A barrel (159 liters) of North Sea Brent crude cost as much as $111.72 today, the last time it did so in early 2014. This could further weigh on the global economy, especially since it is uncertain how the situation will develop. To relieve the market a little, the member states of the International Energy Agency (IEA) decided last night to release 60 million barrels from their strategic reserves.
