Ripple and CSD BR 🇧🇷

Ripple is partnering with CSD BR, a Brazilian financial market infrastructure provider. As part of the partnership, shares in investment funds managed by the financial group BTG Pactual will initially be mirrored on the XRP Ledger.

According to CSD BR, it manages assets totaling over 22 trillion BRL. The XRP Ledger will initially be used to provide additional recording and tracking of assets. In subsequent phases, the settlement and issuance of additional digital assets via the XRPL are planned.

I’m curious to see where this journey with $XRP (-0,04 %) someday. I’d be happy with just $2 for now 👀

I'm going to sell off my entire XRP position during the next rally and take it off my radar for now. Ripple is certainly a good company with potential for the future. But in my personal opinion, XRP won't deliver those explosive returns anymore. There are other coins out there.

This has absolutely nothing to do with frustration. My cost basis is 0.69 EUR. I was just waiting for the SEC lawsuit and a full market cycle to pass so I could assess the true price range. The reason I’m selling and then exiting is simply that I believe volatility will subside—for example, due to institutional inflows. I estimate that trading XRP won’t be as profitable anymore. Maybe I’m wrong, and I’ll continue trading XRP afterward. But you shouldn’t make the mistake of linking Ripple’s business to the XRP price. XRP is not an equity stake in Ripple.

So I’m going to sell in four installments: at 2 euros, at 2.50 euros, at 3 euros, and with the last one, I’ll try to sell just below the peak or when the price starts to drop again. Of course, I could be way off, but we should easily hit the 2–2.5 EUR range. So you’d still make a nice profit. I just don’t buy into those outlandish predictions of 10 EUR or more. Anything’s possible, of course, but I don’t think that’ll happen.

Well, that doesn't mean the coin is bad, though. It's just that those FOMO predictions are, of course, nonsense. But that doesn't just apply to XRP. Whenever everyone starts predicting the end of crypto again during a bear market and claiming that BTC will drop to zero, you know it's time to buy again. And when those same people see BTC hitting a million, that’s when you cash out. If you’re not satisfied with a 300% return by then… hmm… well… 😎😉
