Battle of the Pizza's

Hi all

today we're going to check out the different pizza brands

starting off with

Papa John's International $PZZA (+2,46 %)

p/e of 38, way too high

negatice eps growth

debt and cash are rather ok

roic low

attachment

next up is Domino's Pizza Inc $DPZ (+1,08 %)

look at this, compare the metrics with $PZZA (+2,46 %) , lots better, nothing to complain about

EPS growth scored "ok" but a pizza company doesnt need to grow eps at 15-20%

P/E also much better positioned

attachment

next up Yum! Brands $YUM (+2,27 %)

owner of Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and KFC

safety score higher as $DPZ (+1,08 %) , meaning less volatility

fund score bit lower

EPS growth , well damn

more stable and mature as $DPZ (+1,08 %) , also different sources of income, not just pizza alone

both pay a dividend, not a big difference on that one

attachment

verdict:

1) $YUM (+2,27 %) buyable

2) $DPZ (+1,08 %) buyable

3) $PZZA (+2,46 %) avoid

@TheMaverick well those are just the latest numbers. What you also have to do is your market research, which i haven’t done here

You need to build a case why you want to invest in a stock. if that case is pizza hut, then its clearly case broken and time to get out
