At the World Economic Forum #wef2025 in Davos, AI was discussed as one of the main drivers of future developments in business and society.


Khaldoon Al Mubarak, CEO of Mubadala, sees AI as a significant influencing factor for the world of work. Jobs such as those in administration or design could be replaced by AI. At the same time, however, numerous new job opportunities are emerging in areas such as tech, security and health


"AI is changing the demands on the labor market. While some jobs are disappearing, many new opportunities are opening up at the same time"


Arthur Mensch, CEO of the French AI company Mistral, described AI as the key to an industrial revolution. He said that companies that do not actively integrate AI risk being at a competitive disadvantage.


"AI will fundamentally change the way we work and produce in the next ten years"


During a panel discussion, he also explained that the development of pure language models is shifting towards more comprehensive systems that can take on tasks and use tools independently.


$LLOY (-0,91 %) CEO Charlie Nunn praised the British government's measures to strengthen the AI infrastructure. He sees AI as a key technology for the financial sector.


"AI enables us to better protect customers and provide personalized services. The technology will not only fundamentally change our industry, but also the customer experience."
