Tomorrow is a big day.

With NVIDIA $NVDA (-1,87 %) Salesforce $CRM (-1,08 %) CD Projekt $CDR (+0,23 %) and Okta $OKTA (+0,55 %) report 15.72% of my portfolio in one day, almost simultaneously at around 10 p.m. CEST. In addition, with Crowdstrike $CRWD (+1,2 %) another interesting watchlist stock.

I'm not used to so much palpitations outside the reporting season. And even then, there are rarely days when so much can happen in both directions as tomorrow.

On Thursday there will be more figures from Autodesk $ADSK (+0,72 %) before we start a boring September that will probably drag on like chewing gum.

Am short Nvidia with a small amount with a -25% stop and a +50% limit and a 4 leverage. Let's see what happens

@topicswithhead Which broker are you shorting with?
Imagen de perfil
@topicswithhead Dangerous, how much do you lose if Nvidia goes up 10%? If I had to bet again apart from my long position, I would say expectations will be beaten especially on earnings. Of course, they may still give a cautious outlook

@topicswithhead what will happen!

@Soprano estimate that the margin will narrow and the outlook will slowly deteriorate, but this may not happen until the next quarter, so only a bet with a stop loss

@topicswithhead aren't NVIDIA earnings after hours? Does the SL work then?

@VermoegenMitAktien No, this does not work. If NVIDIA makes +10% after the close and opens at 8 a.m. the next day, the security will be sold immediately through the SL, but at approx. -40%, regardless of where you set the SL overnight.

@Negroni was about to say, would have been new to me

@Negroni Wow, that can really backfire, even with a small amount.

@Soprano I'm already aware of that, which is why he also has the knockout in a fairly narrow border with a straddle (at least in that way)
Imagen de perfil
@topicswithhead Apart from that, I can use my loss top in the event of a default and thus have a tax equalization on the dividends and co

I would be cautious with $CDR. There are no problems here in the medium and long term. And I still consider the company to be undervalued. Nevertheless, the considerable rise in the share price in recent weeks cannot be ignored. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but for my own portfolio, too, I'm expecting a hair-raising sideways movement until a teaser is published.

I think Salesforce will be fun

@User03 What do you mean by funny?

@Soprano either brutally upwards or downwards I think

@User03 I thought you already had a tendency
