What is the withholding tax in Germany? In Austria, Switzerland's withholding tax is unfortunately quite high, with a total of 39.5% being deducted, as with DE shares

@TomTurboInvest I don't know what it is, but getting it back is very simple. I did it about a month ago at Nestle. They have a Germany login. You create an account, fill it out, send it by email to the tax office and then send a photo to the portal. The money arrives in the account just under a month later.

@TomTurboInvest Maybe there is also an Austria login? But it could also be that Germany has a special status because of the shareholders. Either way, we are all German-speaking and therefore it was much more pleasant than Spain or Denmark.

@JuppDupp you say it, but it's the classic with us, if you want your money you have to run after what the state borrows on the side, and if you forget about it, they keep it and you can't get it back.
