I sold half of my $SOL (+2,7 %) -holdings with a performance of 43% (in Getquin the performance was booked incorrectly) on Friday and switched into Avalanche ($AVAX (+9,38 %)) on Friday. Although Avalanche has a much smaller market capitalization than Solana, it currently has a strong community dynamic and exciting new use cases.
Particularly noteworthy is the daily increase in memecoin transactions on the Avalanche chain as well as new partnerships, for example with Stripe, which are providing additional momentum. I see this as a significantly greater performance opportunity compared to Solana, which is why I think Avalanche is currently a more attractive investment.
While Solana is already established and faster in transaction processing, Avalanche scores with its modular architecture, which enables flexible scaling via subnets - this opens up new opportunities for developers and could significantly increase growth potential.
In short: in my view, Avalanche offers more opportunities for above-average price gains than Solana, especially in the current market environment.
