Q3 Trading Update

$ACOMO (+0,54 %)

Acomo (Euronext Amsterdam: ACOMO) released its third-quarter revenue figures today. The group reported revenue of €352.5 million in Q3 2026, compared to €357.3 million a year earlier: a decrease of 1% (2% at constant exchange rates). This was in line with the company’s own expectations.

Key Points

• Decline concentrated in a single segment: Organic Ingredients declined by 13% (to €129.5 million), primarily due to production disruptions at an external partner in the organic juice business in the U.S. The cocoa segment, on the other hand, performed well. Acomo is working on bringing juice production in-house; the new facility is expected to be operational in Q1 2027.

• Four other segments grew:

• Spices & Nuts: +5% to €133.2 million (organic growth + contribution from the Manuzzi acquisition).

• Tea: +5% to €30.5 million.

• Food Solutions: +70% to €10.8 million (organic growth + integration of Cublend).

• Edible Seeds: +2% to €50.3 million (stable at constant currency; SunButter production in the U.S. has recovered).

• First nine months: revenue of €1,063.2 million versus €1,115.8 million in 2025 (-5%, or -3% at constant exchange rates). The currency headwind has subsided.

CEO Allard Goldschmeding emphasized that, despite a turbulent macroeconomic environment (geopolitics, El Niño), the company remains confident in the medium-term targets set at Capital Markets Day 2025 (toward €2 billion in revenue and a 9% EBITDA margin). The 2026 annual results will be released on March 3, 2027.
