Which Xiaomi share ($1810 (+1,96 %) and $XIACY (+3,21 %) ) are you buying - with or without ADRs? As far as I have researched, Xiaomi ADRs are only traded in the USA. However, at Trade Republic in Germany I see that I can buy both variants of Xiaomi shares. Now I am unsure which is the better choice. What would you recommend?

ADR is not a share but a bond issued by a US bank. It reflects the price of the "actual" share.
So always take the "right" share, but are you sure about the political risk?
@Dividenden-Sammler What political risk do you mean?

@equity_expert_640 I'm not right now, my $1810 is Chinese, right? In China, the Communist Party calls the shots - as a shareholder, you don't have much say and if things go badly, you can quickly lose your shares. The Chinese leadership doesn't like to be told what to do with "their" companies - but they are happy to take capital from foreign investors as long as it benefits them.
