Hello Günter,
I've been thinking for a while about whether I should write to you, as enough has already been written. But I think you're slipping into the same dilemma as me.
I have been investing since Neobrooker times, i.e. just over 3 1/2 years, and I think the fact that it is so cheap is also the problem. I acquired 35 positions in shares quite quickly, always one or two at first. I then wanted to invest in them every month. But always whole shares, not bits and pieces, I don't like that in a single "security".
In any case, I wanted to have a connection to each share and get involved with the company. After all, you are a shareholder!
I also decided on five ETFs, the usual, nothing special.
Now, after three years, I realize that it's all nonsense and I'm reducing my positions. The strategy remains:
70% equities, 30% ETFs
Anchor portfolio of a maximum of 25 shares
Buy & Hold
Dividend quality
This is currently working very well and I feel much better than with many small stocks.
Best regards
Nabbii

@Nabbii First of all, thanks for your time and the attentiveness to write my name correctly first😁, so as I have already explained, I would soon just let the position float and put my focus completely on the ETFs I have because I know they simply perform better the small stocks are just to get a few cents rolling is just great for me to look at these should only make up about 5% in my portfolio, do you need that? Not at all! Am I losing money by doing this? Maybe just what I would have more in ETFs, but I'm aware of that, but is that still a problem in your opinion?

@Gxnter absolutely no problem! I really like ETFs! And in segments where I don't know my way around or where it's still uncertain who will win the race in the future, I like to put 5% in and see what happens.
But as I said, I'm also interested in the few companies I have in my portfolio and I'd like to weight them myself, which you can't do with an ETF, because the ETF decides which shares go in and which don't and to what percentage.
I therefore see my share portfolio as my own little ETF 😄
