Share price doubles after insider deal?

Good morning GQ Community!

Today I have some exciting thoughts again. After yesterday's day, which was particularly successful for my portfolio with a gain of around 5%, I went looking for potential new opportunities to double and came across $93M1 (-0,13 %) came across. An investment company in the medical sector, which has recently come under pressure following the surprising insolvency filing of a holding (CR Energy). $93M1 (-0,13 %) holds above all 2 larger investments $M12 (+0,94 %) and $HAEK (+0 %) .

Following this fall in the share price, the CEO Brenske has now acquired around 40% of the company off-market for almost 35 million. Unless you are completely crazy, you only do that for 2 reasons. Either he knows something that will lead to a greater increase in the value of the investments, or he is toying with the idea of liquidating the company. The stake in$M12 (+0,94 %) alone is worth twice as much at the current share price as the market value of $93M1 (-0,13 %) .

I'll see if I can put a few shares in my portfolio today so that it's not just the board that benefits from his plan.😉😂😎

I wish you all a successful day, whether on the stock market, at work or on vacation like me.🌞😎🍹

Do you have such a huge time difference on your vacation, or can you just not sleep?

@Propheteus enormous is relative, but depending on where you are between 6 hours in Europe and 12 hours in New York. And I was actually awake 1 hour earlier than usual today. But even if you're in Europe, I was already in the realm of dreams at 17:00 after your time.

@Multibagger Yes, then I am reassured..........

I'm always torn when it comes to small shops (sources would be great so I don't have to search for them myself :) ). However, the speed is always relatively high at up to 2-5% (okay, stock exchanges are still closed). That means you usually pay it twice. But even if you take the bet with, for example, 1% of the portfolio, you will have made about 1% if it doubles. The stake is quite high in absolute terms, but the profit is relatively small. In other words, you would have to enter with significantly more, which can quickly lead to a liquidity/volume problem with such small securities and push the speed even further. Daily volumes of € 90,000 -1,550,000 (average of the last 10 trading days just under 600,000) are not exactly lavish.

@DonaldTruck You have a different way of looking at things than I do. I never look at the profit on the portfolio volume, but always on the individual trade. If I make 100%, I sell the share and look for the next opportunity. Unless I'm expecting a tenbagger. If it goes in the wrong direction than I expect, it quickly flies out again at a loss. I also realize losses relatively quickly, as I don't want to wait 1 year or longer for the share price to double after a 50% loss so that I am plus/minus 0. I can then offset the realized losses against gains.

@Multibagger I can absolutely understand your point of view. I took a similar approach for the first 3-4 years, learned a lot and also saw returns in individual trades (relative to the time) that I have never seen again since. However, with a consistent savings rate and one or two more successful trades than one with a dip in the toilet in the portfolio, you end up with sums where you sleep much better with, let's say, more set strategies. In the early days (because otherwise, in addition to the spread, the order costs eat up everything that can be achieved in terms of profit) I usually went in with 10-20%, later with 2-5%. In relative terms, of course, it's always the same. However, the bet with monthly salaries is simply too hot for me in absolute figures. Perhaps there will be other times that require such a willingness to take risks.

@DonaldTruck oh I'm a long way from the early days. I had them with manual day trading a good 25 years ago. 😂 I had a lot of great profits and painful losses. I have sometimes gained or lost 40-50% of my portfolio value per day. I manage my portfolio solely from my holdings without savings and aim for an annual net increase in value of at least 45%. The capital I originally invested is €3,000, which is very manageable. I would like to turn it into €100,000 in 10 years. Hence this approach.

@Multibagger I wish you a good hand or tight inflation. Fragrances both lead to the goal 🤣

@Multibagger Where do you currently stand with your "3000€ account"? -I apologize if I have overlooked your portfolio somewhere-

@wasi The start was in April 23. As of this morning there are 16,300 approx. but of course I have large fluctuations. If you follow me you can see the portfolio. For most people here, the portfolio and the strategy are not interesting because they have a different approach.
have a different approach.

Very exciting, let's see if I can get in with a small position. However, I'm already on the move in this sector with $RVMD...

So I went in. The spread on Tradegate was now a normal 10 ct. Let's see what happens!

I'm staying out for the time being. No investment for me for the time being. But keep your fingers crossed that you're right again.

@investment_wizard_2286 I understand that, I am speculating here solely on the special situation with insider trading. Not because I necessarily want to have an investment company.

I had the M1 clinics themselves on my radar at the beginning of 2024, but then they got away from me.
Thanks for the idea of the holding company. As a friend of holding companies, I'll have a look.
