"Last year, UPM's global revenues reached almost EUR 10 billion, and the balance sheet equity ratio was a solid 61%. Nevertheless, this week management has again successfully placed a so-called "Green Bond" on the European bond market, raising a total of EUR 500 million. The maturity in this regard was set at 7 years, with an interest rate of 2.25%. UPM intends to use the capital raised to further pursue its "Green Finance Framework" strategy, including initiating or refinancing new forest and management projects related to sustainability. To this end, solutions for climate-neutral products as well as against environmental pollution and for waste reduction are to be promoted. Since November 2020, the Finns have thus issued a total of 3 green bonds with a total volume of 1.75 billion euros."

@GoDividend is basically good news, as it confirms that UPM is operating very sustainably. They have hardly any debt and can afford it very well. So basically positive.

@GoDividend certainly not. Simply good news. But it won't move the share price.
