As I am currently struggling to make a decision between a unit share and an ADR variant, I would be very interested in your opinion on this topic.
Specifically, it is about the share $UCB (-0,78Â %)
At Trade Republic, I can only purchase the original share via individual purchases, which means that the regular order fee is incurred for each transaction. As I am very attached to the company, I have so far chosen exactly this route and regularly invested manually.
For some time now, however, Trade Republic has been offering the ADR version $UCBJY (-0,41Â %) as a free savings plan. This raises the question for me as to whether it would make more sense in the long term to switch to the ADR - or whether the original share is the better choice despite the fees.
