ETF for electrification

What do you think of the $WIRE (-1,73 %) advertised in the GQ newsletter? I find the composition exciting and instead of finding a great pick, it's certainly a good choice for the topic in my eyes.

I have been invested in the $XDG7 (-2,62 %) which covers similar companies. Great performance so far. If the $WIRE (-1,73 %) performs similarly or better, I think I would consider a switch.

Both are accumulating btw.

@TechNav what are your expectations in the long term? Is 15% year to date, not huge, or no? I was looking at $XESC to get exposure to companies like Siemens and Schneider, but they are in this ETFs too

@TechNav not available in the $XESC and it’s a huge company 😅

Has been in the savings plan for a month, I expect an excess return from it.

It is in my watchlist, it looks promising… but I’m trying to resist. I want to keep my portfolio as simples as possible. But I’ve an eye on $WIRE and $XESC
But these are all "hardware companies", if I understand correctly? So manufacturers of power electronics, cables, etc.?

Not electricity producers? Because then I would be missing companies like $NEE or $FTS and others.

In my opinion, the term "electrification" suggests an investment in electricity and everything that goes with it: but that is probably not what is meant here.
