Unboxing Swatch shareholder gift 2025

I have just received the new shareholder gift from Swatch $UHRN (-0,91 %) received. The packaging is different than in previous years. Here they have changed from oblong to square.

I know that pictures and text are more popular here. You can see all the interesting things in the pictures. So just click here if you want to see my unboxing video: https://youtube.com/shorts/_7UDxihC33U?si=h62MyPiEkr4pXWUZ

As always, I'm giving the watch itself to my partner as a present and am content with the dividend.

On request, here is the approximate value. After all, we are here to make a profit. It has already been sold on Ricardo (Swiss auction portal) for CHF 100. As the share is CHF 29.10 today, that's a theoretical profit of 343.64%. It will probably settle at between CHF 30-70, as it has done in recent years.

Okay, so how much is that ugly watch worth?

@Buffalo That's the beauty of it. It's not important to me whether it's valuable or not. Nor do I care whether it is beautiful or ugly. In recent years, I've often received watches as shareholder gifts that weren't very nice. But I find this one very eye-catching and my partner likes it. I don't wear watches myself anyway.

Good question, nobody would probably buy it

@Buffalo My God, if you're a shareholder, you'd get something as a present and you'd be crying because the watch is ugly. Ungrateful humanity.

@CenkAltun As a shareholder, bills are more important to me than ugly watches, my God.

To answer the question as well as possible. It has already been sold for 100CHF on Ricardo (Swiss auction portal). Since the share is 29.10CHF today, this is a theoretical profit of 343.64%. Add this to the posting.

No wonder the watch is being given away, not even a blind person would want it

@asset_engineer_1744 but are you happy about a dividend of €2?

A gift is a gift. Accept with thanks and be happy :)

@Andimoneych The share price is just under 150 euros. Where do you get the 29chf from?

@Maveric2005 You need a registered share with voting rights. They are much cheaper. One is $UHR and the other $UHRN

@Andimoneych thanks for the clarification :)

How many shares do you need to receive these gifts?

Yours sincerely

@MarcoBSC Only a single one for currently around CHF 30, you must have a postal address in Switzerland and cast your vote in advance or directly at the AGM.

Thank you very much for your contribution :)

Have you received many of the watches yet?

@PiHu Is the fourth. Been in since 2022. I bought a share after my partner liked the 2021 shareholder watch so much. Since then, I've given her the watch every year. A watch subscription, so to speak 😉

Holy shit

How do you enter yourself in the register?

@Koenigmidas My broker (Swissquote) has an overview of all shares and one click is enough if the shares can be managed as registered shares. You need this for all of them to activate voting rights and (if you want) gain access to the AGM.

Not even that nice :)

Ok ugly, now I'm glad I don't have any more of these shares :)
