Hi Together,

I have received from $1772 (-1,41 %) Ganfeng Lithium stock dividends. What is the most useful way to record them here? Stock purchases for 0€?

Spin-offs or stock dividends are entered as a purchase because you receive shares. This is also the case with Vonovia, for example. :)

The data transmission in Open Banking does not know the difference, as the brokers only send "Yes, hello. X now has Y more shares of Z in the custody account, do what you want with the information."

You could also enter this as the cost price with us when you edit the transaction.

@SchilboTrading Is there no display for the purchase price / cost price at TR?

But it is very likely that the cost price is the price that we enter as the purchase price.

If it were 0 now, the performance would be absurd.😅

@Kundenservice Unfortunately, it says absolutely nothing. Only that stock dividends were distributed 😂
I have now roughly determined the cost price using a 3-set and entered it

@SchilboTrading Based on the current performance at your broker, you can calculate back what they use as the cost price. :)

You can then also enter it here, if it is not already what you mean.
