🚀 IREN lights the afterburner: Sweetwater 1 is LIVE! ⚡

After a long break, I'm back with some great news from $IREN (+9,88 %) !!!

While many still label the company as a pure Bitcoin miner, the management impressively proves today that they are currently building one of the most powerful AI data centers in the world.

The game changer: Sweetwater Hub 1 🏗️

Confirmation came today: The first 1.4-gigawatt substation in Texas is online on schedule! This is not just a bit of "power", this is the foundation for the future of $IREN (+9,88 %) .

Why this is driving the share price today:

- AI infrastructure: In Sweetwater 1, the massively ordered NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs are now moving in. IREN is finally transforming from a miner to a high-performance computing (HPC) giant.

- Predictability: In a sector where grid connection delays are normal, IREN delivers exactly in the announced time window (April 2026).

- Scaling: With the energization of Sweetwater 1, the target of USD 3.7 billion turnover rate within reach by the end of 2026.

It was about time for a small jump in the share price. Now that we have passed the USD 40 mark, we can also jump further upwards!

@jkb92 mhhh, I would rather say that my tone has simply become more critical. I understand everyone who is looking for high-growth stocks with tenbagger potential for themselves and their strategy.

For me, however, I now always question the quality of an investment first and foremost. And that's where naked bets on the future usually fall straight out. I share this assessment (with my set criteria) when people ask for my opinion, or sometimes provide material for discussion, as I did yesterday with $PNG, for example.

And I don't deny that I had a number of (at times almost exclusively) highly speculative stocks in my portfolio and was also enthusiastic about them (and in some cases still am). But my focus has simply shifted significantly.

With strict financial criteria for an investment decision, the assessment of hype stocks that no longer meet MY criteria as they stand now also becomes tougher in case of doubt.

@Klein-Anleger At this point in time, you are absolutely right. When I wrote my commentary, we were exactly +/-0😉 And you pay for the alpha with extreme beta, which is correct and completely normal for growth stocks.🤷🏼‍♂️

🤷 It's always a trade-off - security vs return
The main thing is that you can sleep well and get to your destination, whether you're a small investor or a boomer 😘

@Sebbster $IREN for example, is one of the candidates, simply because they are the infrastructure giant in the HPC sector from my point of view.👍🏻 $AII is also still one of the candidates that I find useful and good and yet do not hold, due to my strategy switch.

@TradingHase If you believe most analysts, we will still see the 70$ this year. Would taste good in my opinion. Ultimately, we will see huge growth in Irish over the next few years either way. I think 70$ is still nothing.
