Dear Chris, I am doubly grateful for your post yesterday. I read it during my lunch break today and thought it would be a good opportunity for my very first (!) derivatives trade. 😊
I have a beginner's question: I have decided on a turbo long (leverage 4.6). Now I would like to understand why you bought a call option...

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! 🤗

@KohleKompass I wanted the highest possible leverage due to the short holding period I was aiming for. If I had taken a KO certificate with a similarly high leverage as the warrant (no call option), the risk for a KO certificate would have been very high and if it moved in the wrong direction, I would have faced a total loss. So it was more the C/R ratio that played the decisive role, not the type of derivative.
But congratulations Markus on your first successful derivative trade so far.

@KohleKompass Where are you from in the pot?

@Multibagger originally from Gelsenkirchen, then lived in Münsterland for a long time and now I live in Oberhausen.
You're also from nearby, the Cologne area, if I remember correctly. Or are you?

@Multibagger Yes, it looks great so far. I'm already itching to sell. But I think it could still develop well by tomorrow.
Do you have an exit plan?

@KohleKompass I've been living in Bergisch Gladbach, right on the border with Cologne, for 28 years now. But I grew up in the other blue and white stronghold of Duisburg 😉😂

@KohleKompass I think we will test the 100$, if we make it and hold it, I see potential up to 105$.

@Multibagger ah, cool. Yes, you can't really get rid of roots like that.
I like the clubs with a nostalgia factor...

@KohleKompass have been a fan since I was 7. That was the first time my mother took me there.

I was already 12 and went to the Parkstadion with my father for the first time against Bochum (even more blue and white in the pot 😁). 0:6 at the end, is still in every statistic today: Highest home defeat. Nevertheless, I was hooked...

@KohleKompass It would have been easy to become a VfL fan. You missed this chance so easily🤪

Hey Chris, I took a closer look at your idea today in a quiet minute. I found your train of thought very plausible. That's why I jumped on your bandwagon this morning and just got off again with +31%. 🚅 Tastes good🤗
