Hmm. It seems like the momentum has already run out for Bitcoin again. It jumped for three days and now it’s flat again. Or to put it another way: the momentum has already faded again.
WTI is another story. It seems to me that it’s reacting less to momentum and more simply to day-to-day political events—mainly in Iran—which are essentially unpredictable.
But we’ll see.
The tlt thing might be a useful addition to our toolbox.

•@Solitair WTI, I'm with you on that. It's always a gamble. Bitcoin could very well gain momentum. Whether it has already done so is questionable. But the rules are good and clear.

@Solitair The point of a set of rules, once established, is that you follow them even if your own intuition or opinion goes against them.
Personally, I think getting into BTC right now is a bit risky, especially given the seasonal risks. WTI is probably a bit more complex than day-to-day politics—and in that complexity, I definitely see some momentum. Commodities as a whole seem to be on the rise right now.
