Would you like to tell us a little more about that?

@Keineui A healthy company with excellent prospects (optical technologies seem to be overlooked) that has plummeted from an overvalued situation to an undervalued one. The company isn’t to blame for these ups and downs, and now I’m buying it up because I like to buy low and sell high. Doing it the other way around doesn’t make sense.

In any case, the trend is clear.

@Epi Yes, definitely

@Fabrikarbeiter There's a clear trend here: you can get a specialist in optical systems at a bargain price. The idea that they only manufacture plastic sunglasses is a bit off the mark.

Yeah! 🫡 Just do it 💪
(Or did you make a typo when you bought it?)

@MozartsGeist Nope, it's my biggest position in my portfolio right now.

Phew, why release the Q3 numbers before October 20?

In my opinion, there are still a few red flags at EL.

1. Core business is growing only slightly
2. Debt-financed 2026 dividends—net financial debt at 2.5x FCF and buybacks at peak prices
3. Change in leadership without a clear strategy

I think it’ll definitely drop again to 120

@TechNerd1337 "The core business isn't the interesting one"—everything else you're writing here isn't really a red flag. Debt-to-free-cash-flow ratios of 2.5x are a dime a dozen, and as for the free cash flow being on the decline, I'll chalk that up to the group's technological ambitions (without looking into it too deeply right now). Yeah—220 euros in a year, if you’re going to start throwing out random prices off the top of your head.

Is there already a new “victim”?
