Siemens and revolution - go together like Germany and digitalization. 🫣

•@Epi Hmmh, since I work for a Siemens derivative and have been "on the road" in the Group for >25 years, I can no longer confirm this for the last few years.
And, in my opinion, having successfully "survived" 175 years means not having done everything wrong. But perhaps we should call it evolution rather than revolution 😉

•@Epi absolute. Actually, a "roof is covered when the weather is nice". We in Germany apparently only get started when it really "rains in". At least that's the impression we might get. At least that's how I see it in the industry I work in (healthcare).

@Novius Yes, that can also be confirmed historically. The Germans only show their virtues under massive pressure and in deep crises. But then nobody can hold a candle to them! 💪
That's why I'm reasonably optimistic about the future. But we have to get through the crisis first. It's going to be tough for us.
At the moment, we're sailing downwards at record speed (economy, education, infrastructure, finances, political culture...) and everyone is staring like a rabbit at a snake.
In 2020, I once said: we need 10 years of crisis. That would bring us to the halfway point. Things will pick up again in the 30s, I'm pretty sure of that. The only question is on what basis. 😬
