Petah Tikva, Israel, January 27, 2026 - Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd (NASDAQ: GILT, TASE: GILT), a global leader in satellite network technology, solutions and services, announced today that its Commercial Division has received a multi-million dollar order from a major global avionics company for the supply of sidewinder electronically steered antenna terminals designed by Gilat Stellar Blu. Deliveries are expected within the next 6 months.
The order reflects the continued momentum of Ilat's Sidewinder ESA platform and the growing demand for advanced in-flight connectivity solutions that combine high performance with a low-profile, lightweight configuration.
Designed for commercial, business, VIP, government and military aviation, Sidewinder ESA supports high-throughput satellite networks and enables reliable, high-speed connectivity for passengers and crew. Electronic beam steering ensures fast satellite acquisition, increased reliability and less maintenance compared to mechanically steered antennas. It is compatible with both GEO satellites and the OneWeb LEO satellite constellation.
