Additional securities account for trading on Nasdaq

Losing patience with TR (or L&S) at $ATAI and would therefore like to move to a broker where I can trade directly on the Nasdaq.

Flatex? What else is there? Gladly with recommendation link, if anyone wants.

Thank you

Interactive Brokers, you can trade directly on all kinds of markets, Nasdaq, Nyse etc.

What are the fees at Flatex for trading on the NASDAQ?

Btw: hope you don't want to sell any fractions, because that won't work. I have an incredible €0.69 lying dormant at comdirect in $ATAI, which I will have written off as worthless on a paper form at some point when I have time and leisure.

@Get_Rich_or_Die_Tryin ne only have whole ones, luckily. Do you know if it works with Consors? I still have a custody account there

@jkb92 with Consors it should work but: the fees are exaggerated.😂 Grad read once...
••

@jkb92 I just checked my statement: over-the-counter direct trading at comdirect with SocGen cost me a mere €3.90. The standard rate here should be €4.90.

@Get_Rich_or_Die_Tryin somehow cannot find Atai's security there

@Get_Rich_or_Die_Tryin @jkb92

Trading on Nasdaq via Smartbroker+ usually costs EUR 4 basic fee plus 0.02% of the market value, with a minimum fee of USD 8 🫶

@SAUgut777 Nevertheless, there's only a bonus if you make a minimum deposit by the deadline.😅 Since neither of us knows how high our holdings are, it's all just reading coffee grounds.😂 And: off-exchange direct trading at comdirect would still be cheaper.😘 If the custody account is only for this purpose, all other features don't really matter.🤷🏼‍♂️

@Get_Rich_or_Die_Tryin just wanted to give a friendly tip 🤷🏻‍♂️

@SAUgut777 Logo, completely legitimate. I just think that the depot is intended exclusively for Atai sales.😊😉

I could at least buy them at ING, so selling on the NASDAQ should also work there. Otherwise, the only other option for me at comdirect is instant trading via SocGen (but at least that's quite inexpensive, at least that's how I got rid of all my shares).🤷🏼‍♂️

@Get_Rich_or_Die_Tryin I have now moved it to consors because it was quicker with an existing custody account. That's where they are now. But daily updated prices are not displayed there either. Not here at gq either. It's really strange. All in all, it's a pity, I think the share price is also bobbing around because retail investors in Europe are not having a good shareholder experience at the moment...
Why did you sell?

@jkb92 Atai was actually more of a takeover-gamble brand, as I think last year a quasi-competitor was taken over by one of the big pharma fish. Unfortunately, nothing has happened with Atai in this direction so far. Promising from my perspective, but since the focus for my portfolio has now shifted in a much more fundamentally driven direction, it had to give way, along with many others.🤷🏼‍♂️

I also had the price problem for buying and selling at comdirect, but at least over-the-counter direct trading gave me the opportunity to sell them.

As I said, I don't know how and whether they can be sold at ING, but they can at least be bought there.

@Get_Rich_or_Die_Tryin for me actually a long-term investment as I am very convinced of the therapy method. Well, wait and see...

@jkb92 just had a look at Smartbroker+ and clicked on buy for fun and get current prices via Nasdaq, as well as price changes (currently fluctuating between 3.60$ and 3.67$)

@SAUgut777 Thank you. I opened an account with SB+ but moved the shares to Kondors first. By the way, it was done within 2 days @Get_Rich_or_Die_Tryin 😳

However, they don't show me any daily prices and therefore no performance for my position. But I could trade them. Maybe I'll try the move to SB. However, it's probably a problem with Clearstream, as I've read. So it could be that it's the same everywhere...

@jkb92 Therefore: over-the-counter direct trading if you would like to separate.🤷🏼‍♂️😅

@SAUgut777 buying is also possible with ING. It actually depends on the sale. But that will be the case with all brokers, I had the same with comdirect.

Smatbroker + the neo broker is still the closest thing to a full broker.

● No custody account fees

● telephone support that is available by phone

● free currency accounts

● Free interest account

● all major trading centers in the world

● Free sub-custody accounts (several)

● Trading via Gettex from €500 free of charge

● below that from 1€

● Derivatives trading at a reasonable price

● Trading on Nasdaq via Smartbroker+ usually costs EUR 4 basic fee plus 0.02 % of the market value, with a minimum fee of USD 8

● There are many more + points

If that convinces you, here's my ref link, we both deserve something 🤷🏻‍♂️🫡

@SAUgut777 If he fulfills the conditions, you both benefit.😅 If he makes a securities account transfer from TR, the time period that SB+ sets here is already sporty.🫣
••
Imagen de perfil
@Get_Rich_or_Die_Tryin no, why are the conditions fulfilled with every further trade 😉
••
Imagen de perfil
@SAUgut777 exactly what I mean. If he opens a custody account exactly for this one purpose and doesn't need it for anything else and TR (maybe, possibly, which is not entirely far-fetched) takes longer than 4 weeks for the transfer OR his holdings are not €500, the whole mess is obsolete. And the fee would still be higher.😂

@Get_Rich_or_Die_Tryin not right either had the case in this context before 😉 ... the conditions are also so good that you already meet the requirements in advance....
••

@jkb92 will not regret it 👍🏻
••

@SAUgut777 everyone as they like. Treat yourself to the €30 and good.😊 With comdirect, I would have given up the new customer bonus in favor of the lower price for this one trade, but of course that's just my opinion. And it's also a question of what you use it for or want to use it for. With this in mind🍻
••
Imagen de perfil
@Get_Rich_or_Die_Tryin maybe with the benefits permanently, who knows and if not, I was happy to help, doesn't make me poorer or richer 🤷🏻‍♂️😉

@SAUgut777 I also find SB+ not uninteresting in principle, but would actually have failed in the course of the current portfolio restructuring or the costs would have been too high for me. But the SB+ custody accounts are also with Baader Bank, aren't they?

No idea why you are losing patience, since when, why, what does it have to do with your broker. Don't check

@BeachPlease $ATAI has moved to the Nasdaq and has not been tradable on TR for over a month (which is due to L&S). But the communication from TR is poor as usual. It feels like you only get automated answers. I am not moving the whole portfolio but only this stock.

Once you start opening a securities account and trading with IBKR, you will never want anything else. The possibility of selling individual lots alone is mega. In other words, you are not bound by the FiFo principle. Every single tranche you buy is treated as an extra asset and can also be sold separately.
