Hello everyone,
I have a quick question about CFDs.
The majority of my investments are currently on IBKR, as well as a small portion on Scalable.
I have noticed that certain stocks (e.g. CA25537Y1043 / $DGS (-0,82 %) ) or $PDI (+0,52 %) are tradable on Scalable, but appear as non-tradable on IBKR with the same ISIN due to a missing KID. This affects some stocks that would be interesting for me as a divi hunter. So far everything is ok.
Basically known: no EU KID = no regular sale to EU private investors.
Scalable apparently tracks such stocks via CFDs. CFD would also be possible via IBKR. This is exactly what is not clearly displayed to me as an investor on the trading interface at Sclb - especially as a beginner, I assume that I am buying a real share with all rights and obligations, which is not the case here. "Please read the small print!" you would think - the only question is: Where is it clearly and unambiguously indicated before the purchase that it is a CFD and not a real share?" CFDs would be fundamentally unsuitable for long-term wealth accumulation due to the lack of ownership and special assets. I.e. for me . Broker insovent etc. = CFD/ money gone.
Do I understand this correctly with regard to CFDs? Greetings
