I think this is a very legitimate and good idea! I did a similar thing half a year ago, but more to get dividend stocks/BDCs/REITs from it. Even for 10000€, the additional dividends + the dividends from my other portfolio pay off the loan installment by themselves. I've already been able to pay it off faster with more surplus dividends. When the loan is through, I'll do it again.
So far the calculation has worked out, the price increases + dividends are more than the loan amount plus interest.

•@BockaufDividenden Sounds interesting, why don't you present the calculation in a post💪
I still receive too little in dividends, around €1000 a year

•@Therapeut Hm, I don't know whether this will be so popular or of interest here :)
In principle, the data is as follows:
SKG credit (from a subsidiary bank of DKB)
10,000€ loan over a term of 36 months with a monthly installment of 301€. So a total of €10,827.92 to repay.
In principle, you would then need €4,190.00 gross dividends to pay the full installment through dividends only, if:
2,000€ tax-free allowance, because I take that from my wife and then 2,190.00€ are a total of 4,190 gross dividends. Now the €2,190.00 is still subject to KEst. + solidarity surcharge = €1,612.39
Total net dividends therefore €3,612.39
With the monthly installment of €301 * 12 months = €3,612.

•@BockaufDividenden A gross dividend of €4190 is quite a lot, but it's a really good idea
I can also imagine it in the future

•@Therapeut yes, that's not a small amount either :) but as I said, it works in the sense that my dividend portfolio yields roughly these gross dividends. On the other hand, I could easily cover the 301€ installment with my salary (in case I suddenly receive 0 dividends, which is illogical)
