BrightSpring awakens growth fantasies with focus on home care " Successful together "

Hello my dears,

I keep seeing here that shares such as United Health and Hims & Hers are very popular due to the ageing population. That's why I'd like to introduce you to a nice alternative today. The IPO Brightspring $BTSG which went public in January 2024. The P/E ratio for the coming year is 0.3.

I look forward to your opinion in the comments

(the next earnings are on October 31)

BrightSpring Health Services (ISIN: US10950A1060) provides comprehensive care and pharmacy services to patients in the US, particularly seniors and people with chronic conditions. With the recent divestiture of its Community Living business, the company is sharpening its focus on home care and related pharmacy services. Founded in 1974, BrightSpring went public on the Nasdaq stock exchange in January 2024.

In order to maintain its position as a leading provider of home care, the company pursues an inorganic growth strategy. Profits are constantly being invested in acquisitions, most recently in a service provider from Arkansas and a specialty pharmacy in Texas. In the past financial year 2024, the 10 billion turnover threshold was exceeded for the first time (USD 11.27 billion).

On May 2, 2025, BrightSpring Health Services published its report for Q1 2025. Revenue increased by 26% year-on-year to USD 2.88 billion, while the company generated net income of USD 0.19 per share, an increase of 111% and more than twice as high as analysts had expected. Investors were also impressed by the increased outlook with expected sales of up to USD 12.5 billion for the 2025 financial year.

Following the figures, the share price exploded by over 30% within a few days. The all-time high of USD 24.82 is now within reach. As long as the market environment remains positive, the share price should continue to rise in view of the extreme earnings surprise of over 100 %. Traders should wait for setbacks or a sideways consolidation before entering the market.

Conclusion

BrightSpring Health Services is convincing with its focus on home care, double-digit sales growth and a spectacular earnings surprise in Q1 2025. The share is benefiting from the strategic realignment and has demonstrated new strength with the recent price jump. After the rally, the share remains interesting, especially as an anti-cyclical entry opportunity during setbacks.

@Tenbagger2024 Are you currently planning an entry or is it on your watchlist until a setback?

According to the chart, there should be a setback.
Perhaps better to wait for the figures first

@Tenbagger2024 I know this is a beginner's question, but I definitely count myself as one of them. How do you recognize that?
And I didn't find it at TR

I don't think it can be traded there.
I always find it difficult to buy before the figures
••

@Tenbagger2024 it's not that difficult, enter your order and press buy 😂😂😎

@Multibagger
Not difficult, but rather a small risk.
The share can plummet if the figures or forecasts are poor. Although forecasts have been raised

Hmm, yes. Nursing is not a scalable, low-margin business. Everything depends on personnel and that is limited. Stable but not very promising. Hence the inorganic growth and the falling margin.
In the long term, I would rather focus on other business areas.

There will soon be care robots or @EpsEra?

@Tenbagger2024 Maybe so. But how many old people with dementia are cared for by a creepy tin man? 🤔

I'll find you a company with higher margins. But thought you were only an ETF investor

Yes, I also think that robotics will find its way into almost every sector in the long term, including care. From a romantic point of view, it would be nice if this is where progress happens first. Realistically, however, I take a similar view to @Epi: areas such as industry, logistics and gastronomy will probably benefit sooner because profitability will be achieved more quickly. Nursing care is likely to follow later, except perhaps in premium facilities where the corresponding resources are available.

@Tenbagger2024 I work in the care sector, so I'm confident in my opinion on the sector. 😏
