$VAR1 Dude, I'm glad I got out in time ...

can now gamble again for a few hours

@TechNav Nope. Not my site at all. Anyone who gambles here has not understood that there is no escape. Capital cut to 0 euros, then restart. I'm surprised that the share price is still so "high".

How can it be that it is now back to >€2 if it is now delisted?

••

@GGHyperX The market reflects the future and there are always unforeseen factors in transactions of this size, which are apparently valued at around € 2

@risk_minister69 Bought in April for EUR 8.09, sold in May for EUR 11.18.

EDIT/SUPPLEMENT: However, I "only" bought 750 more in April, having already bought 250 shares at EUR 19 a year earlier.

All in all, I came out at +- zero. Could have ended much worse ...

@trader_6666 I'm not surprised. It's really crass how private investors have to take the hit here. It's not a pity about the gamblers, but I'm sure a few people were invested for years.

@trader_6666 None of these apply. In this case, it was via StaRug and small shareholders are not compensated.
The shares are worthless, as Varta no longer has any capital as of today.

@trader_6666 um, exactly what ixh wrote is in your report.

"Then the share capital of Varta AG is to be reduced to zero euros. The effect: the current shareholders will leave and the Group will lose its stock market listing."

And here is the statement from Ostermann.

"We have tried everything to get the small shareholders on board - but that is not legally possible in this situation," the Reuters agency quotes Varta CEO Michael Ostermann as saying. Due to the lack of audited annual financial statements, Varta could not issue a prospectus, which would be necessary for a broad capital increase.

@trader_6666 ChatGPT is probably not yet familiar with the StaRUG.
