Why not the IMI? This one has lost over 30% of its capital in the last 5 years. For me, dividend ETFs should at least guarantee capital preservation despite distributions.

@Cyless IE00BD45KH83 Is the distributor. But is also available as an accumulator. It's just not an EM dividend ETF. But there are also more interesting ones than the one mentioned above. As EM ETFs have performed poorly in recent years, their dividend ETFs in particular have had problems preserving capital.

@Watzeklicker Since they have performed worse, I see potential for this to change in the coming years
@PascalBr This assumption can also be justified. I am also invested in the EM. We'll have to wait and see whether it really turns out that way. But if you are interested in performance, why are you investing in a dividend ETF? Or are dividends more important to you?

@Watzeklicker The dividend is more important to me, otherwise I would have chosen someone else. The dividend is so high because the share price has fallen so much, so I assume that the share price will rise rather than fall in the coming years.

I think it's a good addition, I have it too! It's been well beaten up in the last few months and therefore has upside potential in my opinion. It's just high risk - that's why it pays out 7%. My savings plan is still running....

@Wuestenschiff Yes, in my opinion too. Even if nothing comes of the ~1100€, I could tolerate it, but of course you don't want to

Very good. I also invested four figures here.

@PremiumSparkassler I think emerging markets are very attractive in the current situation. I'm only undecided about China because the economic problems and politics are already extremely unsettling. Although, objectively speaking, I'm just as skeptical about the USA with its national debt and Trump's possible re-election.
In the end, you have to rely on the science, which shows that EM is a good addition to the world (industrialized countries) if you weight them accordingly.
I sometimes have the feeling that the long-term performance is quickly lost sight of due to short-term underperformance.

@Renditedichter I also bought this ETF because the China portion is small and because I believe that things will improve over the next few years
