🚪 Patito says goodbye to Nordea 🦆💼

After a full review, we decided to exit our position in $NDA-FI.

Despite its apparent stability, the fundamentals no longer matched our standards:

Patito Score dropped to 66, WB Grade fell to C, and its overall strength ranked just 27/100.

With no strong upside or momentum, it’s time to rotate into higher-conviction ideas.

Discipline over hope — onward to better compounders! 💸✨

Why does anybody ever make such an investment? Don’t understand. There’s no money in those stocks…

@Gomerdoc different investing profiles?

My humble investment in Nordea gave me better short term results than NVDA’s extreme volatility on a similar time frame and I also believe small caps and medium caps can provide good results.

With a YTD of 12% seems interesting enough, I just set my interests elsewhere for now. 🤷

@SATNL I defined a custom scoring system (Patito Score 🦆see my pinned post) to rank quality, earnings, debt, and value. Then I combine that score with a Buffett-style grade for business strength. If the stock scores as fundamentally strong, reasonably priced, and the rest of my due diligence checks out I initiate a small position.

I started with a pool of 2500 stocks based on a screener for US, Canada, UK, Japan and European markets.
I now run my scoring system a few times a week to review any changes and with some excel it narrows down to a list of candidates where I do a deeper due diligence.
Every now and then I’ll manually add stocks to the scoring system (when they get mentioned here for example) and review them.
