Hedged S&P500

$SPPE (+1,03 %)

Hi, now that I've gotten some feedback from you guys in my last post, I'd like to introduce my pick as a replacement for the normal $VUSA (+0,65 %) here. I've seen that there isn't a single post about it yet, so:

Goal: mitigate currency risk a bit.

It is accumulating, but hedged in €. The TER is actually even lower than the $VUSA (+0,65 %) we are at 0.05% here. Has also been around for a few years + a good 2 billion invested. Has physical replication.

Overall, I actually really like it, nice instrument for currency risk management.

Let me know what you think :)

Hedged etf usually make little sense, 1 the companies also earn their money in currencies other than USD and 2 there is only a currency risk in the short term. Gerd kommer also has an article about it here

Isn't it a bit late for that and then you don't take the upswing with you when it goes the other way again and the dollar appreciates?

MMn it is now too late to hedge. It should have been done six months ago. FOMO?

I am also really affected. In USD my portfolio would have been in the plus instead of the minus since YTD. But I think the big party is over by now. And in the long term it is irrelevant

The right decision. The dollar will continue to fall. 👍
