Accenture is not wrong, they are just currently struggling with their main business, consulting. But it also feels like Accenture is a mixed bunch of companies because so much has been bought up. The people I was allowed to work with at Accenture were unfortunately no angels in their fields. But I like the company too, but the chart doesn't feel like it has a bottom
@Caynify That's right. I dealt directly with them once and did quite well. Let's see maybe the $150 holds... but I agree with you, but I often look less at the chart or retrospective prices.
@Timqu002 Why no risk management and liquidate the position at -30%, for example? 🙄The company may look good to you, but the swarm intelligence says: "The company is valued too high or the future prospects are poor".
That it's one of your biggest positions and you want to put even more into it ... I can't understand that from a rational point of view. Can you explain why?
Thought experiment: What if the share now makes +500%, then your portfolio only consists of this share, so to speak. What do you do? Sell the share? Reallocate?
@MoneyISnotREAL I bought the shares because it was/is a stable compounder that was not overvalued even then. <30 P/E ratio, stable cash flow and earnings growth close to 10% (and still is). Deep roots in partner ecosystem/partner network, lots of know-how, recurring revenues, .... And should actually benefit from digitalization - so future prospects are also quite positive. Due to the cash they earn, I would also see AI as a long-term opportunity for the company, as they can position themselves well there and expand or save personnel, which would lead to more profit. Since I basically follow a buy and hold approach and nothing has fundamentally changed in the company, I would not sell either. In hindsight, I underestimated the fear of AI at the company and perhaps should have sold earlier or waited before buying more. I'm not currently planning to increase my position any further, except minimally through savings plans, but other companies are higher up the priority list. The position WAS once one of my largest before the crash. It is currently in the midfield. I would still be happy about 500% hehe :).
