Share at the start of the week. Better than ONDAS?

Hello my dears,

as I had said goodbye to the drone sector.

I am now looking around for a possible new company in the sector.

It would be nice to get a little help from you. By writing me your assessments of the companies in the comments.

Thank you very much for this 😘.

The first company would be-

  • Unusual Machines, Inc $UMAC

As the company is not yet profitable, I have compared the key figures with ONDAS $ONDS (+0,62 %) in the key figures.

For me, both companies tend to fall into the somewhat riskier area.

Because I think a comparison is very good here.

I was impressed by the speed at which Unusual is progressing towards profitability.

And in the end, almost all 🚀 in my comparison went to Unusual Maschines.

Do you see an alternative here, or perhaps even the better ONDAS?

$UMAC

Unusual Machines, Inc. is engaged in the manufacture and sale of drone components and drones. The company's products are distributed through a diversified portfolio of brands, including Fat Shark and Hypetrain Motors. The company also sells small, acrobatic first-person-view (FPV) drones and equipment directly to consumers through its curated Rotor Riot e-commerce store. Fat Shark designs and manufactures ultra-low latency FPV video goggles for drone pilots and distributes them to retailers like Rotor Riot. Rotor Riot is an e-commerce marketplace supported by a community of FPV drone pilots that sells FPV drones and goggles, parts, tools, drone components and third-party accessories.

Number of employees: 16

Donald Trump Jr. is part of the Advisory Board

Several independent media report that Donald Trump Jr. joined the Advisory Board of Unusual Machines at the end of 2024.

  • NBC News reports that the stock rose sharply after Trump Jr. joined the Advisory Board.
  • MarketBeat confirms the same process.
  • Other financial portals such as Timothy Sykes also report on this

Unusual Machines primarily serves the U.S. drone industry by building and selling drone components.

In February 2024, we acquired FPV market leader Fat Shark, which designs and manufactures ultra-low-latency video goggles for drone pilots, and Rotor Riot, a drone-focused e-commerce marketplace backed by one of the largest FPV drone pilot communities in the world. In short, Fat Shark makes the drone components and Rotor Riot sells them.

We expect the demand for drones to continue to grow across all industries, including public safety, corporate inspection, defense, and eventually drone delivery. As these industries grow, regulatory changes such as the American Securities Drone Act and conflicts such as the one in Ukraine are causing significant changes in the drone manufacturing and supply chain. Recently, supply chains have been dominated by Chinese companies (see reference). We believe that the shift towards American manufacturing will create significant demand for a non-China based supplier of drone components and provide an opportunity for us to grow rapidly.

FCC action requires use of U.S.-made critical drone components - Secure Networks Act

Certainly not an uninteresting company either. I still see $ONDS ahead in the medium term, because in my view the reason for the poorer figures at $ONDS is something that is neglected in your great overview. They have made a large number of acquisitions, which will of course have a negative impact on their results for the time being, but will ensure that they can cover the entire value chain in the drone sector if the integration is successful. In my view, this sets them apart from most other drone companies, which only offer partial services. The success of $ONDS therefore depends solely on how quickly and effectively they manage to integrate the acquired companies. If they manage to do this, they have what it takes to become a tenbagger.

@Multibagger $ONDS is much more than just drones in the air. It is developing into a vertically integrated unmanned ground air defense player. I see a clear upside here if the integration of all acquisitions and full-package sales succeed in the long term.

@capital_captain_2693 also take a look at $THEON, I wanted to introduce it these days. Perhaps an alternative

@Tenbagger2024 Let me guess: they use the image intensifier tubes from $EXENS in their night vision devices.

@Get_Rich_or_Die_Tryin good question, at least they supply $HAG

@Tenbagger2024 small addition after some research from me to $THEON:

- Acquisition of Harder Digital (image intensifier tubes)

- further aggressive acquisitions (Exosens participation, Kappa Optronics)

- Theon currently holds a 9.77% stake in Exosens, making it the second largest shareholder

- Exosens is the most important supplier of image intensifier tubes for Theon (which is only logical, as Exosens is the global market leader in image intensifier tubes); investment to secure the supply chain and deepen the long-standing partnership

- European market share: Theon has a market share of over 50% for night vision goggles (NVGs) in Europe. In countries such as Germany and Belgium, it is the de facto standard supplier.

- Global market share: According to estimates, the global market share for portable night vision systems is in the range of 10% to 15%.

So I will continue to stick exclusively to $EXENS. 😊👌🏻

Sorry, I'm completely out of this area. It's always exciting to see what develops, but I haven't invested in any companies yet and won't do so in the future.

I'll definitely stick with ondas. They have bought all the companies they need to be able to handle almost everything in-house. The margin will thank them for that in the future.

$RCAT due to acceleration in drone contracts with the military. Although the price is not right at the moment. Maybe around $11- 11.30$

My dear. These questions are exciting but not trivial
