Nissan and Honda consider merger

The Japanese car manufacturers Honda $7267 (+0,2 %) and Nissan $7201 (-0,68 %) are considering a merger, according to media reports.

The joint production capacities, sales channels and development departments could thus strengthen their own market position in the battle against Chinese manufacturers.

It is also possible that Mitsubishi $8058 (-0,33 %) may also become part of the new alliance.

No exact deal has yet been made.

Next, VW, BMW and Mercedes merge to be able to compete against China and Japan, but then go bankrupt together 6 months later due to the encrusted structures 👍

@DonkeyInvestor We don't need to worry about that, because the German carmakers are far too stubborn and look elsewhere for the blame, while German pride prevents them from admitting their mistakes.

The companies are more likely to go under and be nationalized or the useful components will be bought up by the competition.

@Springroll However, I will probably find the most interested people/readers at the parent company $8058 and not at $7211:)
