My $SPACEX (+0 %) IPO prediction:
The demand is going to be absolutely ridiculous.
People who have never bought a stock in their life will suddenly be opening brokerage accounts because they don’t want to miss the next big thing.
The stock will rip. Financial media will be talking about it nonstop. Social media will convince everyone it’s a guaranteed winner.
And that’s exactly when a lot of people are going to get smoked.
Not because $SPACEX (+0 %) is a bad company.
Because IPO mania has a way of making people forget about valuation.
My prediction? Massive run-up in the first few days, followed by a painful reality check.
I wouldn’t be surprised at all if $SPACEX (+0 %) is trading well below its IPO price just a few months later.
