On the WL for some time and now a first tranche has been placed. Support at €27.00 seems to be holding. Let's wait and see how tomorrow's announcement regarding the NVDIA cooperation turns out.

223Deutsche Telekom joins the Theta Network (THETA) as an enterprise validator
Theta Network, a Layer 1 platform for AI, video and entertainment, has announced that leading telecommunications provider Deutsche Telekom $DTE (-1,13 %) has joined its blockchain as an enterprise node operator.
The agreement makes Deutsche Telekom the first telecommunications company to join Theta as a validator.
Deutsche Telekom will also operate a publicly accessible node, demonstrating its transparent entry into the Theta ecosystem.
Deutsche Telekom joins the growing trend of global companies such as Sony, Google and Samsung securing and validating transactions in the Theta ecosystem.
Mitch Liu, CEO of Theta Labs, comments on the partnership as follows:
"We are delighted to welcome Deutsche Telekom as the first integrated digital telecommunications company to the Theta network. They have long been recognized as a pioneer in blockchain technology and infrastructure. Their decision to operate a Theta validation node underscores the growing importance of Theta as a leading provider of decentralized cloud services for AI, media and entertainment."
》Strategic move into decentralized systems《
The telecommunications giant has established itself as a pioneer of blockchain technology.
Deutsche Telekom is planning to launch a cryptocurrency custody platform next year.
The company is using its subsidiary Deutsche Telekom MMS to support various platforms such as Ethereum, Chainlink and Polkadot with institutional infrastructure and blockchain validation.
As a result, the company enjoys a strong reputation as a trusted node operator in the Web3 space.
Now it wants to further consolidate this position with the decentralized infrastructure of Theta Network.
This role will enable Deutsche Telekom to expand its presence in the next phase of blockchain-based cloud services.
Theta EdgeCloud capabilities, which prioritize reliability, security and performance, ensure the decentralization Deutsche Telekom is striving for.
Dirk Roeder, Head of Telekom MMS Web3 Solutions, said:
"Theta's decentralized architecture fits perfectly with our focus on reliable and secure infrastructure. As a digital pioneer, we are excited to support this innovative technology and contribute to its growth, opening up new possibilities and opportunities."
》What the collaboration means《
The partnership between Theta Network and Deutsche Telekom reflects the broader trend for traditional companies to focus on decentralized systems.
Such moves show how blockchain technology is evolving from speculation to infrastructure with practical benefits - especially where reliability, scalability and performance are critical.
Decentralized platforms like Theta Network offer a solution in the face of rapidly rising cloud computing costs and the proliferation of AI applications.

German Telekom
The Deutsche Telekom share DE0005557508 has seen a correction in the last three days, but I think it is now in an interesting zone for an entry (27€). The figures look good and the next quarterly figures will be published on November 13, 2025.
The pressure on the share is coming from various providers in the US and Germany. In the US, Verizon is planning to attack again, while in Germany 1&1 and O2 are planning a merger. Starlink is also planning to make its internet more accessible to everyone via satellite and Amazon plans to do so from 2026. Telekom is working on a German solution for satellite internet and is planning a cooperation with Nvidia in Munich (AI factory), about which more will be announced on November 4, 2025. This could give the share new impetus.

No investment advice!
I don't think the so-called bad news is that bad. Essentially declarations of intent from competitors in the USA - something has to happen first. And Telekom's activities in relation to data centers, the cooperation with NVidia and satellite communication are still going on. If this were news for any startup, there would be a nice upward premium. Not here for the time being, but it will pay off.
Telekom on offer
$DTE (-1,13 %) for 27.04 euros? I think that's actually good value. I have a good chunk of them in my portfolio, but I'm thinking about buying some more. I think the 'bad news' from T-Mobile in the USA is overpriced. Overall, the company is in a good position and would also have a reasonably crisis-resistant business model in the event of a crash.
If the Q figures are good in 2 weeks, we'll go up again.
Telekom and Nvidia plan AI factory in Munich
Small "speculative" position for 2026. EV/FCF is below 10 and ROE is higher than P/E, so could also be seen as a value play.
On Tuesday 04.11 Telekom will also give more info about it...
Subsequent purchase
Today I have both the $DTE (-1,13 %) as well as the $WKL (-0,14 %) at the support today.
I like them both very much. Let's see if there are lower prices in the next few months, then I'll add to them. Otherwise I think there is definitely potential in the next few years.

Nvidia and Telekom build AI data center in Munich
Nvidia $NVDA (+3,25 %) and Deutsche Telekom $DTE (-1,13 %) are preparing to launch a billion-euro initiative for a data center in Germany. This was reported by the Bloomberg news agency, citing sources familiar with the matter. The project is intended to meet the region's demand for computing capacity.
Europe's largest software group SAP $SAP (+2,29 %) is expected to be the anchor tenant of the data center. The plans themselves have been known for some time, but no official announcement has yet been made.
An event in Berlin in November could be the occasion for the announcement. Deutsche Telekom CEO Tim Höttges, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, SAP CEO Christian Klein and Digital Minister Karsten Wildberger are expected to attend. The event is planned for Munich, a source said.
The project aims to develop regional AI capabilities. In the US market, companies such as Microsoft and Google have invested hundreds of billions of US dollars in AI infrastructure. Europe is lagging behind both US and Chinese competitors in this area.
》Europe's AI infrastructure offensive comparatively small《
Nvidia's management previously expressed concerns about Europe's pace in expanding its computing infrastructure. European companies are reaching their limits if they want to use AI systems and at the same time maintain data sovereignty within European borders.
The planned facility will use around 10,000 graphics processors - specialized chips that power AI systems. However, this dimension remains modest compared to projects elsewhere. A data center developed in the US state of Texas by Softbank, OpenAI and Oracle is designed for around 500,000 GPUs.
In February, the European Union presented a 200 billion euro plan to promote AI development in the member states. The initiative aims to triple the region's AI computing capacity over the next five to seven years. However, implementation of the plan is slower than expected.
