NASDAQ 100

So technically speaking, the NASDAQ 100 has been in a bull market again since 06/17/2022 due to the rises of the last few days! Does that sound as crazy to you as it does to me? Just a short while ago doomsday mood and now bull market again? And just geopolitically it actually feels even worse.

But: The stock market trades the future and that means as long as Putin and Xi Jinping don't escalate further, interest rates really fall again in 2023, inflation declines as planned, the recession is really mild as priced in, etc., that may be it and the other American indices will soon be bullish again. I am more skeptical about Europe, etc.

What do you think? Or do you think the above parameters will still "tip"? As far as that is concerned, I can really imagine anything.

As of today, among others, Mastercard Inc ($MA (+1,85 %)), American Express Company ($AXP (+3,58 %)) and Oracle Corp ($ORCL (+0,32 %)) are trading ex-dividend.

Nasdaq ($NQ) - The U.S. technology index Nasdaq yesterday posted its biggest intraday loss since February. Overall, it went down 3.3%, that was mainly due to the fact that the yields of U.S. - government bonds have risen to 1.78% to the highest value since April 2021.

Tesla ($TSLA (+4,25 %)) - The shortseller Fraser Perring, who among other things bet against Wirecard ($WDI), now announces that he is also betting against Tesla. The reason for this, however, is not the accusation of balance sheet fraud as with Wirecard, but rather that Tesla is simply overvalued in his opinion compared to other car manufacturers such as VW ($VOW (+1,1 %)) or Toyota ($7203 (+1,92 %)).

Cryptomining is currently banned in Kosovo, BBC reported citing government data. Due to the ongoing electricity crisis in the country, the state-owned coal-fired power plant had to be shut down and electricity had to be imported. Since cryptomining consumes an enormous amount of electricity, the government in Kosovo has now banned it.

Previously, Kosovo was very popular with cryptominers because the electricity prices there were enormously cheap.
