@DerMartin Basically, I didn't care whether vw or the holding company, as both benefit from the same events. I decided in favor of the holding company because of the low valuation and the recent drop in the share price. In addition: very secure and good dividend and a market capitalization of around 5 billion although they hold shares in vw alone worth 22 billion and then there are all the other companies (mostly Porsche of course ≈ 9 billion)

one of the biggest mistakes I have always made is to believe that a historically low value is a good buying opportunity. Spoiler alert, it's not. You're trading the future on the stock market, so do you think the VW Group will return to its former strength and sell e-cars like hot cakes in China or not? Will the combustion engine come back or not? My opinion is that our state has already left a lot of scorched earth behind and I will part with my position.
