Vertiv Holdings Co (NYSE:VRT) is one of Goldman Sachs' top stocks for Phase 2 of the AI industry, up 145% year-to-date
Vertiv and Nvidia collaborate on 7MW reference architecture for GB200 NVL72
"We are proud to deepen our collaboration with Nvidia to enable AI-driven data centers of today and tomorrow," said Giordano Albertazzi, CEO of Vertiv.
"As a leading provider of critical power and cooling infrastructure, Vertiv is uniquely positioned to support the Nvidia GB200 NVL72 platform. Our portfolio of high-performance power and cooling solutions combined with our global reach enables customers to deploy AI data centers faster, more efficiently and more flexibly to handle compaction, dynamic workloads and upgrades, and enable future-proof designs."
Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of Nvidia, added: "For accelerated computing and generative AI, new data centers are being built with architectures that are significantly more complex than those for general-purpose computing.
"With Vertiv's world-class cooling and power technologies, Nvidia can realize our vision to reinvent computing and build a new industry of AI factories that produce digital intelligence that benefits every business and every industry."
The architecture comes despite reports that Nvidia's Blackwell GPUs are sold out for the next 12 months. This week, Nvidia reached an all-time market capitalization of $3.4 trillion, but fell more than $200 billion due to potential sales restrictions in the Middle East and a slowdown in ASML sales.
