Daimler Truck - The truck division of Daimler ( $DAI (+0,39 %) ) made its debut on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange today under the name Daimler Trucks. The first price valued the company at a market capitalization of 23 billion euros. This market capitalization is therefore rather at the lower end of the range of analysts' forecasts, who were expecting a valuation of up to 40 billion.

Inflation - The U.S. Consumer Price Index is up 6.8% since December 2020. This is the fastest increase since June 1982. It remains to be seen how the US central bank will react. The next FED meeting is next week and the numbers will play a central role.
Volkswagen ( $VOWA ) - Herbert Diess remains at the head of the group. The supervisory board has agreed that Diess will remain as chairman of the management board, but will lose some operational competences. The biggest change will be that Herbert Diess will lose responsibility for the business in China. In addition, the investment program for the next five years has been approved. It includes investments of 160 billion euros.

Meta - Meta Whatsapp's subsidiary is currently testing transfers with crypto-currencies. A test phase is currently underway to allow users to send crypto-currencies to each other. This is to be implemented with the Novi wallet, which is also owned by the Meta group. The crypto-currencies available are currently not Bitcoin, Dogecoin & Co, but only a stablecoin based on Etherum called Pax Dollar.
