Even if it ever comes to Germany, it will still cost €45,000. Every car that goes for €20,000 in Asia costs more than twice as much here. So it will be nothing. And for that, the German Michel prefers to buy a VW, which at least has a dealer network.
Especially as 20 minutes 20-80% and just under 80kwh won't knock anyone's socks off. In the foreseeable future, there will be European cars that can do this as a small car at a worthy price. What the market really needs are small, affordable EVs and not the 5th iteration of a lower mid-range SUV.

You could be right about that. But many car manufacturers have little interest in the German market. As an investor, you should look at the market in India and Africa and then tell me whether someone in India or Africa buys a VW if they have the choice. VW will never be able to offer an equivalent car at this price. And even in the hotly contested Chinese market, Mahindra will be able to gain market share with this vehicle.
