There is no such thing as "too early" in long-term investing, in the sense of stocks that you are convinced will perform well for years.
Countless studies have shown that even those who buy at the ATH do better than those who wait for the dip.
Why? Because it often *doesn't* happen, and then the price is even higher.
There are countless publications on the subject.

@Charmin Is that also true for cyclical stocks? I see it differently! Cyclical stocks go virtually 1:1 with the economy.

@GordonGekko83 You can see it however you want. It doesn't change the research on the subject.
Regarding the "economy": What economy? Germany? THE USA? China? World? BMW sells worldwide. I don't think you can speak of a cyclical value here.
