With a strong jump upwards, the DAX said goodbye to trading on Thursday. The joy over the major interest rate cut by the US Federal Reserve even drove it well above the 19,000 mark and thus to a new all-time high. The DAX40 closed 1.6 percent higher at 19,002 points. The rally extended across the entire market. With the exception of utilities, real estate and telecom stocks, which had already rushed ahead, all sectors rose.
