1. Credit Suisse Update
Credit Suisse is in a crisis. To get out of this crisis, the Swiss bank wants to raise $4 billion from investors. To cut more costs, Credit Suisse wants to cut up to 9,000 jobs and focus on wealthy clients as part of a major strategic overhaul from investment banking.

2. Elon Musk buys Twitter!
Elon Musk has completed the purchase of Twitter, after much back and forth. He is now "Chief Twitt" and has taken complete control of Twitter. The CEO Parag Agrawal and the CFO have left Twitter. It is still unclear how Elon Musk managed to finance the deal. Musk has big plans and wants to turn Twitter into a "common digital town square" where (almost) all opinions should be represented and accepted! If you could lend Elon Musk money to finance the Twitter purchase, would you do it?

3. unemployment figures in USA rise slightly
The number of applications for unemployment benefits in the U.S. rose slightly last week, but remained at a historically low level. Initial claims for unemployment benefits, an indicator of layoffs, rose slightly last week to a seasonally adjusted 217,000 from 214,000 the previous week.

Special: Audi partners with Sauber in Form 1
The German manufacturer announced in August that it will enter Formula 1 as an engine supplier. Audi will manufacture the power unit at its plant in Neuburg, Germany, where more than 120 people are already working on the project.
